Zia is an emerging screenwriter who works across television, film, and theatre. With five series in development with some of the most exciting British production companies including World Productions and The Ink Factory, and acceptance on to the North Wall Catalyst Programme 2022, Zia is receiving growing attention in the creative industry.
Zia was a part of the BBC Wales Voices programme, the recipient of the World Productions Wales Writer award, and the winner of the Script Angel Inclusion Scholarship. Zia is a genre writer whose projects range from a knotty conspiracy thriller series, a Mining sci-fi horror series, and a magical realistic short film set on a council estate. Her characterful writing is known for weaving rich worlds with authentic stories.
Zia is committed to working with the most exciting emerging and established talents to write stories that surprise, immerse, and shine a light on the unseen and unheard.
Jasper has been refining his creative point of view since 8 years old, the same age as our story’s protagonist. His first exploration into documentary film at age 15 secured him an official selection for Cinemagic Young Filmmaker 2016, taking him to Dublin for the premiere. Jasper trained at the Egg theatre for nearly 10 years in directing and acting, and has created and performed in various public facing theatre productions.
His directorial history boasts representation to Rankin’s production company following his success with his short film, Just A Normal Guy, funded by Channel 4 Random Acts at the age of 18 years old, a roster of commercials clients including; Airbnb, Vibram, and Farah, as well as a catalogue of music videos one gaining over 20 million views.
His work has been featured in prestigious platforms like: The Face, Vice, Hunger Magazine, BBC, Channel 4, Rolling Stone Magazine to name a few.
Ewa has worked across Film and TV since 2017, most recently assisting Samantha Vincent, a Producer on the Fast and Furious franchise. As an emerging Producer, she utilises her knowledge of film having worked across different departments.
‘Lessons from Our Fathers’ and ‘Remember That,’. Ewa’s most recent projects have screened at festivals around the world such as Carmarthen Bay FF 2021 (BAFTA Cymru), Little Wing Film Festival 2021 (BIFA Qualifying), Desperado LGBTQ FF 2021, London Short Film Festival 2021(BAFTA qualifying) and Aesthetica Film Festival 2021 (BAFTA qualifying).
Ewa is currently in development for three short films.
